Maureen Burdock is an award-winning feminist artist, graphic novelist and illustrator. She facilitates Laydeez do Comics San Francisco, frequently writes reviews and articles, and actively exhibits in galleries and museums. In 2015, McFarlane published an anthology of her work, entitled Feminist Fables for the Twenty-First Century: The F Word Project. Her work is included in the Brooklyn Museum Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art Base.
