tammy ho lai-ming

Tammy Ho Lai-Ming is a founding co-editor of Cha: An Asian Literary Journal and the academic journal Hong Kong Studies, English Editor of Voice & Verse Poetry Magazine, and the Vice President of PEN Hong Kong. She has co-edited several poetry anthologies, including Desde Hong Kong: Poets in Conversation with Octavio Paz (2014), Quixotica: Poems East of La Mancha (2016) and Twin Cities: An Anthology of Twin Cinema from Singapore and Hong Kong (2017), and her translations of others' works are published in Chinese Literature Today, Pathlight, Drunken Boat, and by the Chinese University Press. Her first poetry collection is entitled Hula Hooping. She is currently an Associate Professor at Hong Kong Baptist University and she has single-authored academic books forthcoming from Palgrave and Springer. She is a recipient of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council's Young Artist Award in Literary Arts.
